Taking online abuse in stride
Earlier in the year, I posted a picture in an off-road forum thread concerning showing off your guns. Well, I kinda fell away for a while and didn't catch what someone did with "creative editing" to my picture until just yesterday. It was fairly harsh, especially the part about "Jeeps Rule." ;) (Although, on the other hand, one of the bad-asses on the site thought mine was the best picture to date.) Anyhow, here's how I handled it - first post on the page.

Now I don't want anyone going over there and defending me or anything; I'm satisfied with my response. I just thought I'd share the situation so that some of the newbies could see that we don't have to take ourselves so seriously all the time.
Oh, here's the original. I staged it for an illustration on an on-going space opera/piracy thread I take part in occasionally (which is up over 16,500 posts already). I think I was saying something like "I'm as ready as I'm gonna be, captain."
