    New Freedom Kilt

OK you chaps, at the moment it's taking something special to get me logging on to the Internet (where you fellows find the time to pop in here on a daily basis I shall never know!!). No offence but since I've been restricting my on-line hours, I have come to the realisation that there is a life outside my windows!! Things like chatting to the neighbours, ringing my friends, comuning with nature, and so much more. But, enough of all that...........

The "something special" that causes me to join you this evening is the arrival of my very first Freedom Kilt from Steve in Victoria, BC. He measured me for this on 9th August whilst I was over there during the Vancouver 'Gathering', and it was delivered just a couple of days ago. Was the wait worth it? You bet it was.

These are the first three photos I have managed to take of this wonderful garment (I do hope they 'work' here. I've taken them with my brand new digital camera which is three times as powerful as my previous one, but I fear the images are still too large although I have resized them!)

This Freedom Kilt is in Steve's 'casual' style and is a full 8 yarder in Charcoal grey poly-cotton. I will post my review of it in the relevant section in a few days - when I have been able to give it a thorough test run!

In the meantime: Thank You Steve - I am thrilled.

[Note to Hank: That makes it 57!]
