Sewing first kilt, this is hard work man.
I think whats-his-name wants $200 USD to sew up a kilt, knowing what goes into this, it is not too bad of a price.
I have about 8 hours invested and at least 2 more to go for a desert camouflauge kilt. The pleating is kicking my butt and keep in mind that this material does not have stripes to line up. If I were using tartan I would be crying about now.
My hat is off to you kilt makers.
I was going to make up a couple of kilts out of some gray tartan material now I think that I'll just make a great kilt instead. I.E. I'll just pleat it on the floor.
