High Waisted Jackets from What Price Glory
Sure, these are replica War 2 and War 1 jackets, but they look great with kilts. Jerry offers nine different ones that I could find at www.whatpriceglory.com Best part, short jones, they're in stock and made up for LARGE guys up to size 52.
From the U.S. forces in War 2 he has the wool Enlisted Ike Jacket for $145, the ETO Jacket, a blend of British and Ike jackets on close out for $85, and the B-13 Army Air Corps flight jacket also on close out for $135.
From the British forces he has the brown P-37 battledress for $155, the P-37 in olive drab denim for $50, the brown P-40 battleacket on sale for $90, the RAF blue battlejacket for $150, and an olive cotton tropical battlejacket for $45.
There's also a War 1 brown Scottish cut away service dress jacket designed to be worn with a kilt for $165.
I have the Ike jacket and the RAF battlejacket and the quality is very good. I wear them with both my tartan kilts and contemporary kilts. There are some pics on the back pages of my gallery.
Anyhow, don't know any other place with such a selection of casual high waisted jackets....if the reproduction aspect of them is okay with you.
