A Natural Progression of the Sgian Dubh to Computer Technology
So, if men traditionally wore a sgian dubh in their kilt hose in olden days when one might likely need it for self-defense have not times evolved to where rather than a knife, a kilted gent working in the computer field might instead keep a small screwdriver there?
Think there are a bunch of men on this board who wear kilts to work, and once at work have frequent need of a screwdriver.
Shouldn't be hard to make a leather sheath for those computer screwdrivers.
Just seems a natural, almost Darwinian, evolution from knife to tool....
A new niche market - computer screwdrivers with elegant decorative handles...
Are there other frequently used tools for other trades that could be kept at "sock top" when kilted at work?
Tradition evolves. Why not practically?
