Gee, Wasn't I Insecure?
I sort of owe everyone an apology. I basically stop posting here for about a year or so and then just start commenting without explanation.
I've just been doing other things (still wearing the kilt every day since December 28, 2003). Mostly, I've been busy with my blog and other writings as well as the same job I had last we met. My old Kilt website hasn't been updated since 2003. I've actually been working on my website tonight to:
1) Get it up to date
2) Replace an advertising program for my web host with Ad-Sense
I found a lot of content that flabbergasted me. I'd forgotten how insecure I was back in those early days. Hopefully in 50 years, it will appear absurd to anyone that a man even had to feel the need to make a website explaining the clothes he wears. I got about 20% of the website done. The big project will be updating the hopelessly out of date Kilt buyers guide.
Over the last couple of years, I've grown a lot more secure in my kilt wearing. I've figured stuff out and continued to learn. Haven't added much to my kilt collection because money has been tight. I bought a house and me and my wife are quite happy here in Boise.
Get a lot of positive reaction from the kilt, mostly, a few jerks but hardly worth wasting bytes on. 75% of the time, I don't think about the fact that I'm wearing a kilt. I just do it. Its clothes.
