I have been interested in kilts for a couple years when I saw some friends have them. I asked questions and joined the yahoo forum, and now I am here. I have two kilts, a tan mocker, and a black survival which I just received. They are both Utilikilts.
I do not wear a kilt full time, but it is starting to be more and more and when I go somewhere I am thinking I would be more comfortable in a kilt. I live in the center of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so we do get snow. I have been outside in a kilt in the winter, but not for an extended time, but I do find them fairly warm, except for the cold updrafts that happen occassionaly. I do have a black pair of kilt socks that I wear in the winter. In the summer I prefer to be barefoot or wear sandals.
