By my hand
Like Mike S., I'm a reenactor (also a rendezvouser) who makes a lot of his own gear. Guess cabin fevers finally taking hold, I got the urge to get a few projects finished off. The first photo is some sporrans I've made over the last couple of weeks. The cantles are from Stillwater. The fur sporran is actually better looking in person, I didn't notice that the gusset wasn't laying right until I downloaded the picture. The fur is kangaroo. The irony of making a pouch out of a kangaroo pelt was just too good to pass up.

The other shot is some knifework I completed recently. The top piece is the rare, but often discussed "cap dubh". Very handy for apres piping situations, and those times when an actual blade might give someone the vapors. The black handled sgian is an Atlanta Cutlery blade. The stag handled one is a blade made by a gent from New Zealand, who used to come over here for some of the Rendezvous.

All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.
