I cannot think of the first women or girl, much less one half my age, asking me about the kilt. Either I have off bounds tattoed to my forehead, or something is terribly wrong.
Women aquantences, dates etc of friends have made coments, all polite, none of them suggestive. But I can safely say I have not been hit on in a kilt.

I'm very sorry to hear that David. I'm not sure why this happens to some of us but not others. I have been told by friends and people I've just met that even before I began wearing kilts I always looked "approachable" so that might explain why girls (and some guys too) are more willing to express their open admiration and affection towards me than they might otherwise be.
