If only, Dale! If only! Alas, this is not my home. It is a simply beautiful Elizabethan country house, built in 1577/9, about two miles from where I live. I always try to take overseas friends there when they visit me, because the house with its stunning gardens is so quintessentially English and reeks of history. (See www.parhaminsussex.co.uk )
I think you also have a kilt for anything that comes up. Someone talks about a white kilt, and there you are in a white kilt! Great!

Yes, that was my intention before getting rid of every trousered item of clothing almost seven years ago. I was determined to be able to attend everything from a football match to a banquet at Buckingham Palace, and be correctly dressed for the occasion - in the kilt. With 59 kilts and several sets of accessories currently to my name, I guess I can do that! (See my Photo Album for a selection - link below).
