The family decided to hop over to Hickam Air Force Base tonight for dinner at Burger King and a trip to the Air Force Exchange. I had a draining day at work, so I made it a point to wear a kilt to cheer myself up. I was sporting my camo psuedo-traditional (as I've dubbed it)(pics can be seen in this thread), and a nylon hip pouch (neo-sporran as I have dubbed it).

Anyway, when we pulled up to the BK, there was a trio of young lassies hanging out at the front door. They might have been 15 years old at the oldest. One of them was sporting one of those new fangled cellies with a built in camera. Unbeknownst to me when it happened, she decided to snap a shot of me. What was beknownst to me at the time was the positive response (albeit intended not for my ears) that came from each of them.
I had realized that my belt needed some adjusting, so I stepped behind my open door to fix it. While doing so, my wife walked up to me and said "Did you smile for the camera?" "What do you mean?" "One of those girls just took your picture. They seem to like your kilt."

Hmmm... I guess the high school lassies DO dig the kilts!
