for the week. Karen and I have a week's vacation time and we're spending it renovating the living room of our house. We've ripped out the carpet to install laminate flooring in a nice oak look, we're painting the walls, we're replacing all the window trim and baseboards as well as adding a chair rail, all in oak; and we're building a new oak mantle for the fireplace.

I started out yesterday ripping out the carpet and baseboards and soon discovered that my UK was getting in the way. So, back to jeans until we're done. Grumble grumble grumble.
