21st Century Ankle-Length Kilts
I've seen them on the site, and as I was flipping through the New York Social page link somebody posted on another thread, I saw a pic of a fellow wearing one of these ankle-lengthers...regular tux jacket, some sort of white shirt, and dress shoes...but no sporran. And I as I think about it, I don't think I've seen a sporran worn with an ankle-length at all.
So. Thoughts? IMHO, it would look less like a skirt and more kilt-ish if worn with a sporran, although admittedly they do look like very masculine skirts by themselves...like one of those German "man-skirts" or something...
