I've been wearing a kilt to the General Protestant service at our military post chapel since January. Not every week, but about twice a month. First few times I received some nice comments, but now it's just accepted. I generally wear an Argyll jacket and tie, so I'm more dressed up than a lot of the men attending.

The Chaplain is OK with it so I don't worry about it.
Most of the soldiers here are 20 to 40 years old and I'm 60 so there may be some deference to age, too.

I bought a Clan Hay flag recently, so that I could carry it in the parade of tartans at some games I've attended, or at a Kirkin o' the Tartan service if there is no other Clan Hay representative.
