I know I'm a little late in posting, but I just finished this one today.
The blade is made by a smithy named Joe Yanta from Colorado who does a lot of historical bladeware, he had never made this style blade before and had only a few pictures I sent him to work from. The blade is properly tempered and hardened and takes a shaving edge! I think he did an excellent job!
He says he will make more and his prices are very reasonable, so if you're interested PM me and I will get you in contact with him.
The handle is all done by me. I used some antler I bought at a knick knack shop for I think $3 and some ebony bits I had laying around the shop.
I'm very happy the way it turned out and I feel I could take this sgian dubh camping and not be lacking in the knife department
