Filson 20 Pocket Travel Vest Instead of a Sporran
So, last week I'm in Flagstaff and see the Filson #556 Twenty pocket travel vest, in my size, for 25% off. That's still a lot since it sells for $145.00 USD.
So I didn't buy it...but as much as I prefer a vest instead of a sporran when the weather is cool enough it kept calling me. Then I got my Filson catalog and the travel vest is still full price from the factory...so this was a deal for sure.
This week I was back in Flagstaff for the Highland Celtic Festival and stopped in to see if it was still there. It was. I bought it. Made a deal with the sales lady that she'd have to take my picture in it if I bought it.

Yes, I still had a sporran on.
It only comes in one color, Desert Tan. But if you know Filson you know they're top quality for over 100 years now. I wore my first Filson jacket as a boy working underground in the mines in 1963. Filson makes bulletproof garments. The cloth on this vest is lightweight 6 oz cotton, but strong. Pockets within pockets within pockets.
