Did not want to hijack Beloitpiper's thread, so thought I would start another. I met with Angus this weekend at the Bristol Renn Faire and he was a great guy. when I walked up to his stall, he was in the process of getitng a gent into a kilt. He has a stock of probably 30-40 kilts available off the rack. The gentleman he was fitting was trying on a Black Watch wool kilt, and had just asked Angus about what was worn under the kilt. I was curious to hear his response, and was pleased by it, since we spend so much time debating/discussing it here. He replied that he would wear underwear with his. He was often around kids, ladies, and others, and did not want to offend anyone. He also mentioned that it was more hygienic, for the kilt, to not have the fabric to skin contact, as well as other potential bodily fluids contacting the kilt. All said very straight forward, and he also offered that one may reply with many different funny/provocative/bizarre responses if asked the question yourself. No real point, but I felt that he answered the gentleman's question very well.

I also spen some time just chatting with Angus. I loved the kilt he was wearing, you can see it below, and would like to get one in that tartan, maybe from Angus himself. His workmanship appeared top-notch. I examined the stitching in his kilts and it was very uniform and tight. I also saw a kilt off the rack that I am trying to get from him. I did mention that Beloitpiper sent me his way, and also X-Marks. Not sure if he will check in or not.

Here is the gentleman himself:
