Adding accesories to the Scottish-American tartan
I wore my Scottish-American 5 yarder a few days ago, and after returning from my walk in the park, I scraped the top of my bald head while getting out of the car. Since it was bleeding, a grabbed a Kleenex tissue, held it on the scrape and sat down it the recliner for a little TV.
I fell asleep for about an hour while sitting there, and after awakening, i grabbed a soda and went out to the back patio for a little fresh air. The lady next door was out with her 1 1/2 year old. When I said hello she looked at me a burst into laughter. Ah yes, I was proudly wearing the scrunched up Kleenex tissue that had become glued to the top of my bald head while I was napping. It was a light blue color that matched quite well with the light blue stripes in the tartan. And since it had sort of fanned out like a peacock fanning his feathers, it had little red spots on it that matched the red stripes in the tartan.
For some reason I seem to pick up these extra accesories now and then when wearing the Scottish-American tartan. Perhaps it's my Irish side unconsciously rebelling. Just to be on the safe side, I'm going to start doing 360's in the full-length mirror before I go outside while wearing the Scottish-American.
