Friday kilt in Georgia

Dear Diary

So I'm standing in line at the post office (isn't that the way all bad stories begin? )

My turn comes and I get the "new" girl. I'm expecting a very awkward exchange with her trying not to notice that this guy has on a kilt (SWK Saffron by the way! )

Turns out she's very friendly and talkative. Great!

Question #1: So are you a highlander?
Question #2: Are you from hear or over there?


The only thing I can attribute to the good luck I've had in small town Georgia is that the Scottish blood runs strong here and while most guys wouldn't think of wearing a kilt, they know what one is. I'm sure I get a lot of looks that I don't notice but so far only positive reactions.
