Surprised no one mentioned it yet:
Green Stewart. It is green and red (with majority green). Basically, it is Royal Stewart on a green base.
I agree, Royal Stewart is the "de facto" Christmas Tartan, as it is visible EVERYWHERE (though it does not have enough green for me).
As for me, I like the Caledonia (I am making a box pleat RIGHT NOW out of this tartan -in modern 13 oz worsted wool), as it useable the rest of the year without looking like a "run away Christman ornament." Also, I am pleating it to the red stripe on the blue (practically a navy in my material) part, thus making it primarly red and blue from the back with traces of black, green, yellow and white.
