    Royal Air Force kilt

My new Royal Air Force tartan kilt arrived yesterday from Strathmore Woollen Co. Ltd. so I wore it for the first time today, seen here in the museum, with official museum sweatshirt.

Beside the flat packed self assembly display cabinet which I assembled and in which I have displayed my late father's RAF artefacts and photos from his service from 1940 to 1946.

My polo top with Royal Air Force crest came from the RAF museum's shop at Cosford. The hose are from North of St. Andrews and are sold as "Air Force Blue". I think they go well with this top but I wonder whether Lovatt Blue hose would be a better match for this kilt if I was wearing a non blue top - what do you think?
