Given Bond's Scottish heritage, I'm a little surprised that the film makers never registered a Bond tartan. Heck, even Scrooge McDuck has his own tartan registered with the Tartans Authority!
The Tartans Authority website keeps timing out when I enter "Bond" in the surname field, which seems to indicate to me that there isn't one.
I used to dislike Lazenby as Bond simply because he wasn't Connery, but having seen OHMSS many times over the years, I've come to appreciate his take on the character. I always get a little verklempt when Mrs. Bond takes a bullet at the end.
