Uh oh!
I got a utilikilt (a mocker) last summer that I really enjoy, and definitely feel a need to start adding more kilts to improve variety in selecting for weather, type of occasion, variety in appearance (e.g., tartan). The problem - I'm allergic to wool (so much for tradition). I'm aware that it's possible to get kilts made in other fabrics but wonder about wearability - my impression is that tho' I can get kilts made of acrylic/PV blends, my concern is how durable they might be given pilling/snagging issues. Also, how much variety will I have in choice so far as color/tartan, etc.? I've posted this on another site, but wanted to throw it out here, as well. Any suggestions/guidance would be welcome.
Thanks,
Frog
