Kilt in the wind
It was blowing a gale here today(Carlisle England) & I had to go to the hospital for neck xrays. I decided to wear my 10yd ancient old Stewart kilt to see how it would cope with the wind. I need not have feared, as the kilt was solid as a rock & never even looked like blowning up in spite of very hard & swirling winds. I had some funny comments like" hope that kilt has guy ropes"etc. Also walking along the road, I would get the stares of " brave man wearing a kilt in this weather". it was a great test for the kilt & for my confidence. I was smiling all the time I was out.
