Kilts and Celtic music
Let me first say that wearing kilts and a love of Celtic music seem to go hand-in-hand. I've always said that if the skirling of the pipes doesn't make the hair on the back of your neck stand up (especially when hearing 'Scotland the Brave'), then ye've nay a drop a' Celts blood in ya. So, I'm wondering what the members of X-marks listen to - Celtic-wise.
My list of favorites include:
Seven Nations (pre 'Roadkill' if you know Seven Nations you'll know what I mean)
Enter the Haggis
Wolfstone
The Rogues
The Elders
Clandestine
The Battlefield Band
Silly Wizard
Andy M. Stewart
The Crofters
The Pogues
The Dropkick Murphys
Lughnasa
Loreena McKennitt
Enya (technically not all Celtic)
Anyone with suggestions on rollicking-good Celtic-rock along the lines of ETH, Wolfstone, Crofters, Seven Nations, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
