What a way to go...
Color guard, honor guard with full rifle team, a modern pumper, and a 1937 Seagrave engine with the casket on the hose bed, followed by a piper (FF/NR-EMT-P, ret.) leading the mourners on foot, finally piping him out to the "Fireman's Memorial Hymn" at graveside.
Precisely the type of service I enjoy most, and feel most privileged to participate in.
