A Policy Clarification - Please Read
Since the inception of this forum, there has been a policy of not allowing discussion of firearms and other weapons. We understand this is not always a popular policy, however it is one of the policies by which this forum is governed.
Being aware that many forum members are interested in Scottish history and are active in re-enactments, we have allowed discussion of historical weapons to take place.
Unfortunately, some forum members have decided that this should open up the discussion of all forms and types of weapons, which was certainly not our intention.
As a result, the forum staff members have determined that it is time to clarify our stance on weapons discussions and have added another guideline to the FAQ/Policies page.
Please take the time to read all these guidelines, as it will only help improve the forum experience for all members.
Our Policy on Weapons Discussions
The only discussion allowed about any type of weapons will be those concerning weapons traditionally and/or historically associated with Highland attire and/or the Scottish regiments.
Posts containing any reference to any other form or type of weapon will be deleted, without exception.
We hope this will clear up any misunderstandings concerning our position on weapons discussions.
