We've only been drinking Scotch for a bit over two years now. I really enjoy the 10 yr old Laphroaig. I've also tried and liked Dalmore, Lagavullin, and Ladaig. My wife likes 12 yr old Glen Rothes. Our son likes Scapa, which I found in a German store and decided to try. It was a nice light tasty malt with a bit of a sweet flavor to me. The Class 6 here on base had some Glenlivet that finally decided to try. I thought it was a bit light but still nice. I do tend to like the smokyer peatyer types myself. I got quite the education and sampled some fine malts the week we stayed at Ferintosh. It all comes down to sample lots of malts then drink what you like.
YMOS,
Tony
