For any Canadian rabble, I highly recommend Terra brand boots. I have worn them as a work boot for the past 6 years and love them. My feet size out at 12EEEE and the Terras fit great. They also have the european style box toe which is a wide fit. This past summer I got a pair that are in the style of Blundstone aussie boots. They are, IMHO, better and they cost less. I don't know if the brand is available stateside but if you can find them, give them serious consideration.
