Well, I got to feeling a little homesick, so I was browsing some pictures that I had taken on one of my weekly treks out into the mountains back down in Durango. Then I thought, y'know, the folks on the forum might enjoy a couple three of these.

Here's one taken about 4 miles from the house I grew up in. This is looking down into the Junction Creek Valley. The mountains you see are the La Platas.

Here's one a little further up the road, looking down at the Hermosa Cliffs in the Animas River Valley. Interesting note, if one were to walk straight down from the spot this picture is taken about 600 yards, you would see another valley in between, called the Falls Creek Valley.

Last but not least, here's a lucky shot of a rainbow taken from near the summit of Kennebec Pass.

I know it isn't kilt or Scotland related, but it is highlands...
