I don't want this to turn into a political or historical slanging match.

I'm in the middle of writing up a Report, and I need to add some academic "muscle" to a reference to the "March of Death" of the Loyalists to Canada in the 18th Century, but I can't find any reliable references to hand. I need some steers to academically reliable reading matter or references. I've read some stuff about Bishop Charles Inglis, but this hasn't been very helpful actually.

If anybody can point me in helpful directions, could you PM me in the first instance?
