Depending on the demeanor of the person asking the question, I may respond with honest answers or not.

If the person is an idiot trying to get a rise I simply answer their question with a question; "Why are you asking me stupid questions?" That usually shuts them up since they're always with their friends and they need to be shut down in front of their friends to embarrass them.
