The belt plate would be smarter without the kilt pin design in the centre (although the idea of matching pin and plate is a good one).

They are of very heavy pewter and were designed in France - but superbly made in Scotland by Pewtermill Crafts Ltd. I do not know if Richard du Clos ('La Maison du Kilt' à Paris) had a hand in the design, but it would not surprise me if he had!
