This is a pic of me in my new kilt that my wife bought for me. Its a Utillikilts Denim Kilt (got it off the scratch and dent). Its one of the first I've seen on there and it is a little long but my wife says she likes it that way, soooo....

I am on my mother's deck in Edenton, North Carolina and am enjoying a glass of 10 year old single malt Bushmills' Irish Whiskey. Oh yeah and I'm wearing my Craic Wisely t-shirt (Celtic band out of Grand Rapids, MI). Oh yes I need to add that it was in the 70s this day while it was snowing back home in Michigan

I really like this kilt and was surprised with how different it is from my Utillikilt Workman's, which is currently my only other kilt. I am having a little problem with the seams and hem curling. I machine dried it on tumble because I didn't have time to hang dry. I'm not sure if that made a difference or not.

Lastly this is also the kilt I wore when I flew from Chicago Midway to Norfolk, VA. I've never flown kilted before, other than the usual stares, no problems. I was a little worried about the metal detector. This kilt fits great around the waist so I didn't have to worry about taking the belt off (which you have to do now). All in all a really good experience!
