It is certainly not forbidden. To many, good whisky and good brew are the perfect kilt accessories. I'll have to confirm this though with Tim C. , Motorman4life, Alan H. ,Captainjak, The F-H.C.A.G., Walkerk, Cameron-Taylor and the rest of the gang about this when we gather for our monthly Beer Night...err Kilt Night. That said we have a few Teetotalers in the Nor Cal Rabble and they are fine folks that we are proud to count them among our crew).

However, Pour1Malt does have an excellent point about how this would be a perfect discussion for "The Pub". For those not familiar with it, “The Pub” is our sister site and is for talk of food, drink, and tobacco. The various forums include different spirits, beer, wine, home brews, cigars, pipes, and cocktails. The nice thing about posting there is that the information in the threads is easy to find in the relevant forum instead of perhaps getting lost in the “Off Topic” section of X Marks the Scot. It’s a little different in tone to X Marks and has a different group of Moderators (Any place where Iolaus is a Chairman of the Board is worth checking out).
