I just purchased a saffron coloured canvas kilt from CCK. I was thinking that since this was like Carhardt material I should go with a tradesman theme for a kilt pin. I am fortunate to have a Lee Valley store in town and remembered seeing a cabinet pull in the shape of a hammer. With modification and rare earth magnets (also from Lee Valley) it would make a super cool kilt pin. So I went on their website and saw more knobs with potential. Here are the pics blatently borrowed from LV. Clicketypopable of course;

Tools all cast white metal and are between 2-3/4" and 2-7/8":

Lazer cut wood carved in maple, the knobs are 1-1/2" in diameter :

Pewter, item D (maple leaf) 1 3/8" high, item F Fleur-de-lis 1 5/8" high:

Pewter 1 3/16" - 1 3/8" diametre:

Food for thought but certainly some modification to get them to sit flat.
