Many thanks everyone for your compliments. Don't forget though, it is the kiltmakers, tartan designers and weavers who deserve the congratulations - I am just the clothes horse!

No Tim, I cannot say that I have a favourite kilt. I like some more than others, it's true, and some get worn more than others for many reasons - comfort being a main consideration, That encompasses, of course, not just the comfort of the kilt itself but the suitability of that kilt for the climatic conditions prevailing, or the activity I might be following. At other times, the predominant colour in a tartan or solid is what I look for - I might feel I want to wear brown accessories one day (sporran, belt and footwear) so a kilt is selected that works well with brown. Another day, it is the turn of black.

No, really, I love 'em all.

They mostly get worn in some sort of disorganised rotation, Phil. I have no system! One or two have now been archived within the Kollection mainly due to my medication-induced weight gain in the past year or so, but I am always hoping that I'll be able to get the straps to meet the buckles again one day! These kilts were all tailored for me or were bought for me to wear - they are MY kilts and I could never dispose of any of them. They are MY Kilt Kollection, which will never be split up.

I am unmarried, unattached even, and so have no fear of familial death threats!
