Here's a photo of a couple of relatively low cost but reasonable quality Sgian Dubh blade types that I use.
Top; Sheffield made stainless steel
Middle: Mumbai Damascus steel
Bottom; Swedish laminated steel (I reshaped a sporting blade blank)

I'm always on the lookout for a source of reasonably priced high end blade blanks so presently when the above blades are not suitable I make my own blades (stock removal) out of various knife grade steels as well as titanium and silver, but this is a very time consuming process.
Has anyone had thoughts about a handle design ?
