Hello all,

You're a creative lot. I'm hoping that somebody can steer me in the correct direction. I need to find a way to make or replicate a traditional fabric sash. I've seen modern variants, and they're far to expensive and unique to resell. Most of my contacts who could reproduce what I need have minimums that exceed the 2-3 dozen requests I get per year.

I'm looking for:

Wool or wool/mix materials (campfire safety is key)
In the equivalent of 16 ounce weight or heavier
8" to 12" wide, though not as critical as the length
6'-8' long

To be used on shell garments that don't incorporate their own waist belts. For some of our (teeny but unique) market of traditional winter campers who like to carry mittens and accessories tucked under their sash where they are always accessible. They also like the convenience of using the sash to adjust their ventilation. It never fails, it never rips, and it makes a nice accessory piece for countless other tasks in camp and on the trail.

Cheers,

Kevin.
