Bagpipe Brothers by Kerry Sheridan
I've just finished reading the book by Kerry Sheridan titled Bagpipe Brothers, the FDNY Band's True Story of Tragedy, Mourning, and Recovery (Rutgers University Press 2004).
This book details the lives and experiences of some members of the FDNY Bagpipe Band and the tragedy of September 11th 2001.
Anyone interested in 9/11, Irish ancestry, Bagpiping, Fire Departments, or kilts should find this book enjoyable to read.
There are some parts of this book that are emotionally evocative, but the writing is done very well and the amount of detail regarding these mens lives is enlightening.
I highly recommend this book to everyone.
