pizza run
so Sunday I played for a funeral, and on the way home with my new found cashola...my wife asks me if I would pick up a couple of pies for dinner.
so i stopped by little ceasers and waited about 5 mins. or so for my order, and a father and daughter were sitting on the bench waiting for theirs.
well Tucson being a close to the border town you tend to hear alot of Spanish. and although I couldnt hear what he said to her after her quizicle look at me i did see him make a movement like he was playing a bagpipe
that and the guy behind the counter said " are you Scott" ...yeah? " your order's ready...you had a Deep dish and a regular right?" uhh....no just two regular peperoni pies.....
the first part made me laugh cause ...the automatic association of kilts and pipes..even if it was true ( my pipes were in the Jeep)
the second one made me laugh cause I think he thought my name was Scott due to the kilt!! the kicker is ....he saw me order and I never gave my name!!
Oh I almost forgot...an older gentleman saw me as I came in to the joint...looked me up and down with a half grin on his face and said " you dont see a kilt that often anymore" to which I replied "thats too bad!... it would be great if you saw one everyday!!"
