I've had NO...not ONE negative comment at work here at Stanford, about wearing a kilt.

Once, early on, I had a question about the "privates protector". I explained that it was called a sporran...(my Indian friend Surajit backed me up on this) and that since a kilt didn't have pockets, you needed someplace to carry your stuff. Aside from that, not one negative comment TO MY FACE.

I've had one person talk about it negatively behind my back. It was quite the power game which didn't really involve her at all which ultimately in the end, I lost, and left the department, thank God... but step three of a five-move, 18-month long progcess of events had me winding up as her supervisor. I thought that was hilarious.
