How do I begin making my own kilt?
Ok, I am now to the point where I want to learn how to make my own kilt. The only hand sewing I have done is repairing my current kilts and I do not own a sewing machine - I was told that a true kilt never touches a sewing machine anyway.
How do I go about making a kilt? Is there a guide/book I need to buy? I have lots of material and sewing supplies, so that shouldn't be a problem. I just don't know where to begin.
