So, I finally gave up on finding my glasses, and took a trip to an eye doctor at the mall yesterday to get a new pair. Was wearing my SWK Economy Wallace and a Buzz Kidder "Real Men Wear Kilts" T-shirt that my wife bought me at the local highland games. While I was getting fitted, I chatted with the young lady assisting me in my order about why I wear a kilt (comfort) and about the wedding of her brother where the pastor wore a kilt. As you probably know, these places usually have the glasses made in a couple of hours. Well, the young lady came back and let me know that while the lenses I ordered were normally in stock, they were currently out and it would be a couple of days before they would have more. I responded that it was no problem, I have lived without my glasses for a few weeks, what''s a couple more days? She then stated that my perscription sunglasses (which I also ordered) would also take a couple of days (same problem), to which I again responded that this was no issue. She then looked to a co-worker and remarked that she wished that they had more kilted customers, as I was so easygoing. She then smiled at me and said, "it must be all that comfort!" We had a laugh, and she made me promise to wear a kilt when I came back to pick up my order. Just doing my part to spread the kilted love!
