Back in January 2007, Rocky delivered to me the first kilt in his newly designed German Heritage tartan. He had a picture of it in his gallery, don't know if it is still there.

Today I wore it to Church. I had a light khaki linen shirt, cream hose, and flashes matching the tartan. While I was counting the offering with another usher and the Chaplain's Assistant, they asked me about the tartan, so I gave them this website. Not a long conversation, but they seemed genuinely interested.

Best part of the morning was when my wife came downstairs to head out the door to Church, and SHE RECOGNIZED and NAMED the TARTAN!

She has generally been supportive and accepting of it, and although she keeps a protective eye on me around other ladies, I think she is pleased a little at the notice the kilts get. I don't think she has anything to worry about. If she can put up with me for 4 more days, we will have been married 39 years (Aug 30th).

All in all, a good kilted day.
