Looking for a book of kilt drawings
I could kick myself. Back before I was so addicted to kilts I somehow acquired a very nice book of drawings of men in kilts - many military I think, much like the artwork on the STA site.
I remember the book was very tall, about 16" and narrow, about 8". The plates were in full color and suitable for framing if one wanted to cut them out of the book.
Guessing the book came to me back in the 1970s. Remember it was very difficult to shelve in my bookcases either vertically or horizontally.
About ten years ago I passed it on to my nephews thinking it would help them learn their heritage. After kilt addiction struck I asked my little brother if he still had the book. He's looked and can't find it.
I'd like to buy another copy but can't recall the title, author, or artist.
Best I can do is the above. Thought I might just ask the board in case someone else had the book or knew of it.
Thanks for any clues.
