Which ear to wear a beret over?

Not just the Ozarks, either; many of the older farmers around here wear (it's almost a uniform) overalls, shirt, tie and corduroy jacket to church. My grandfather did for as long as I knew him. It's not a look I plan to adopt anytime soon, but it is quite common, and not bad looking, once you get used to it.

Aye, you'll see it quite a bit in Iowa as well.

Of course, parts of NE Oklahoma are part of the Ozarks.
