For those that inquired, J Higgins carries Argyll hose as well as diced at an afordable price, that's where I got mine. As for buttons, they can be purchesed from Penny's of Thunder Bay. Some of the things he carries are a bit dodgy but many things arent. On another note, I piped a wedding where one gentleman wore a black tux shirt with his prince charlie jacket with black hose....he was dressed completely in black to include his kilt. Upon colser examination, his kilt had a patern in it, but it was all black. Quite smart looking. Out of about 50 guys kilted, I was the only American there, the rest were Scots and their family. The wedding was at 11,050 ft on top of Mammoth Ski resort. Playing the pipes there hurt. My God, I'll never play there again at that elevation. The Groom was a ski instructor working there as was the bride. Back on track, I also remember a piper at a solo competition in Kansas City wearing all black like that. I think I might have worn red flashes though for the sake of contrast.
