Isle of Skye Kilt on the Rez
Was up on Black Mesa today coming back from Hopi. Black Mesa is part Hopi, part Navajo, and part former joint use area. Its high lonely big sky country. A lot of the travel is on dirt roads.
Had my Isle of Skye kilt on (Kathy Lare) so stopped to take a couple pics...I mean I "had" to stop anyway for the "usual" reason on a long trip.
This one was off Navajo route 41 a bit south of the Black Mesa coal mine complex.
This one is just off Route 98 a bit south of Square Butte. That's Navajo Mountain in the distance

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
