Hello I'm here for the hose
Hi I am string, I'm not a kilt wearer, but I am dating one. I'm using him as an excuse to learn about tartans and Kilt hose.
I knit, spin, weave and sew. Much of what I do is to supply my other hobby which is 18th century Reenacting, where I portray a spinster(a woman who spins, not unnecessarily an old unmarried woman) and a weaver. I'm not a very advanced weaver yet, but I hope to improve as soon as I have some time to breathe a bit. I'm fascinated by kilt hose, and since the knitting is a bit of an obsession I thought I'd join up to do some research on making kilt hose.
I am a full time student who is studying Anthropology and History. I live in Kentucky and which part of the state I'm in varies from month to month.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
